Subject: Welcome Day Event – Meet the University Policing Team : Fri 18 Sep 10:00

Dear Students,

The University Policing Team would like to welcome you to Nottingham Trent University and invite you to visit us during the Welcome Day Event at the Newton Building on Friday 18 September 2026, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.

This is a great opportunity to meet your local University Police Officers and PCSOs, ask questions, and learn about the support available to help keep you safe throughout your time at NTU.

At our stand, you can find information and advice on:

Personal safety on and off campus

Accommodation security and burglary prevention

Bicycle security and theft prevention

Staying safe on nights out

Reporting crime, anti-social behaviour, and welfare concerns

University and community support services

Whether you are new to Nottingham or returning for another year, we encourage you to stop by, say hello, and find out how we can support you during your studies.

We look forward to meeting you and helping you make the most of your time at NTU.

Kind regards,

Nottingham Trent University Policing Team
Nottinghamshire Police
Nottingham Trent University Partnership
