CRIME update for July 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Hyson Green Police beat area during the month of July.

Burglaries residential = 0

Criminal damage = 8

01/07 Bobbers Mill Road – Gas meter attached to outside of property has been damaged.

07/07 Gregory Boulevard – Group of males have thrown an object at taxi vehicle causing a dent in the bodywork.

08/07 Craven Road – Bottle thrown over garden fence causing window to smash.

15/07 St Pauls Avenue – Small gas canisters being thrown causing damage to window.

Between 6pm 16/07 and 10am 17/07 Daley Avenue – Scratches found all around the vehicle causing damage to the bodywork.

17/07 Bobbers Mill Bridge – Road rage incident whereby suspect has exited his vehicle and punched the victim's vehicle causing the mirror to crack.

20/07 Hazelwood Road – Front offside window of vehicle has been smashed.

27/07 Daley Avenue – Vehicle damage whilst parked on the street.

Theft of motor vehicle = 2

16/07 Radford Road – Theft of e-scooter.

25/07 Gregory Boulevard – Theft of dirt bike. 

Theft from vehicle = 6

Delayed report 06/07 – 30/06 Asda car park – Vehicle was left unattended with door open whilst returning shopping trolley, bag stolen from within.

01/07 Noel Street – Rear nearside car window smashed, money and spray bottle stolen from within.

Between 8pm 05/07 and 10am 06/07 Field Maple Drive – Car broken into whereby car battery and money in loose change in cup holder stolen from within.

Between 7pm 05/07 and 8am 06/07 Wades Avenue – Passenger side window has been smashed and small cross body bag stolen from within. 

15/07 Beaconsfield Street – Whilst making deliveries window was smashed, money and paperwork stolen from within. 

26/07 Meadow Brown Road – Insecure vehicle, money stolen from within.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
