| Black History Month highlights from Nottinghamshire Police | ||
| Dear Resident,
As Black History Month draws to a close, we would like to take a moment to reflect and celebrate the contributions, stories and achievements of our officers and staff.
Throughout October, we’ve been proud to share powerful stories that highlight the diverse journeys into policing and the resilience of our colleagues. These stories not only honour Black history but also demonstrate the strength and value of lived experiences in shaping a more inclusive future.
We invite you to read two particularly moving features:
Sergeant Karl Browne shares how a childhood moment with a local officer sparked a lifelong ambition to serve his community. Read his story 👇
Tremayne and Vallon, of our Youth Outreach team, open up about their extraordinary journeys, from personal loss and conflict to building careers in policing. Read their story 👇
Black History Month is a time for reflection, education and celebration. We remain committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, understanding and respect within our force and across Nottinghamshire.
 Thank you.
