| Street Watch Arnold SIGN UP SESSION - 21st November 2025 | ||
| Good Morning,
 On 21st November 2025 from 4.30pm-5.30pm PCSO Gabrielli and PCSO Tuffley will be at the Arnold Library on Front Street in Arnold to discuss, introduce and sign up members of the public to the Street Watch Scheme!
 What is Street Watch? Street watch is a group of community minded residents who will patrol their local area in pairs, wearing high-visibility jackets, to promote safety and deter crime and ASB. Street Watch volunteers will work in close partnership with the Police. As volunteers whilst on the walk, you would be asked to report issues such as graffiti, fly tipping, overgrown footpaths, ASB hot spots etc and report these back on the Fix My Street system run by the office of Police Crime Commissioner.
 What is required of me? It is required to patrol at least two hours a month. The designated point of contact will be PCSO 1045 Gabrielli who will join volunteers once a month for a community walk and to check in with members regularly.
 Why Join Street Watch? Make a positive impact: Help reduce Crime and ASB by being a visible deterrent.
 Meet new friends: Meet your neighbors and strengthen bonds within the community.
 Gain valuable experience: Work closely with your local Police team and get insight into crime trends and safety tips.
 We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in joining up to our Street Watch Scheme in Arnold. If this is something you would be interested in, please join us at the Library on Front Street on the above date and time where we will give more information on the scheme.
