Our special constable applications close this week.
Being a special is exciting, challenging and above all, meaningful. You’ll volunteer to work alongside frontline officers to make our local communities feel safe and supported.
Typical duties include assisting at the scene of accidents and carrying out high visibility foot patrols.
You will also engage with our communities through public events and be part of the team that keeps our city safe at night.
If successful, you will be part of our March 2026 cohort.
