Across our area we are experiencing a rise in Criminal Damage and Theft of Fuel along the A1 southbound corridor.

A number of our farmers are being persistently targeted, experiencing significant damage to crops and soil contamination.

This comes at a time where they are facing many challenges due to the severe lack of rain and crop yields are already desperately low.

You can help by being extra vigilant and reporting any vehicle, especially 4x4, acting suspiciously in your area, witnessed on private land or believed to be being used in conjunction with these crimes, to the police.

These crimes are usually taking place in the hours of darkness, this time of year typically between 00:00 - 04:00
