On 27/04/2025 officers from Mansfield South Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted plain clothed arrest attempts of an individual who had been wanted by the courts and evading justice for 3 years.

Whilst officers were making enquiries at the male in questions address, he approached from a nearby street to ask what they were doing.

It certainly came as a surprise to him when he was subsequently arrested.

As a team we utilise a number of tactics such as plain clothed patrols to carry out our duties in the most effective manner possible.
