Officers from Mansfield South Neighborhood Policing Team seized this Motorcycle today (10/04/2025) following plain clothed patrols in the Mansfield South area. 

The bike was witnessed by officers riding on pavements, and performing wheelies all whilst in excess of the speed limit and in close proximity to other vehicles and pedestrians. 

The rider attempted to run from officers however was apprehended following a foot chase.

The rider was uninsured, unlicensed, and untaxed and thought that by removing the registration plate he could avoid prosecution. He has since learnt that was not the case… 

We will continue these patrols to ensure Mansfield South remains a safe place to be.
