PCSOs from Mansfield South Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted a Knife Sweep at Racecourse Park, Eakring, Mansfield and The Heath, Oaktree, Mansfield. Knife sweeps are conducted to help find bladed articles and other offensive weapons that could have been discarded or hidden in public places that can be used to harm the public or themselves.

We at Mansfield Police are committed to getting knives and other weapons off our street and out of our public spaces to keep our neighborhoods safe, if you happen to come across a knife or weapon make sure to call 101 and an officer will come to collect the item or if you have a knife that you wish to get rid of then there is knife amnesty bins at Mansfield police station at the front counter.
