Over the last 24 hours we have taken reports of a number of theft from motor vehicles at the below locations on the City West area.

Theft from a white Mercedes Sprinter dropside lorry on Church Street, Old Basford where power tools were stolen

Theft from a blue Ford Transit panel van on Seagrave Road, Strelley where power tools were stolen

Theft from a black Mazda on Newlyn Drive, Nottingham

If you own a Work Van please review your security, consider removing tools from the vehicle overnight or installing a tool safe within to protect.

Please also consider security marking any valuable tools and keeping a log of any serial numbers, as this will assist if we recover the items and essential evidentially to linking stolen property to any offenders arrested.

Please ensure that if you leave your vehicle unattended that it is locked and report any person you see acting suspiciously around vehicles and ensure that there are no valuables on show. If a crime is in progress then please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 999.
