Over the last 48 hours we have taken reports of a number of theft from motor vehicles at the below locations on the City West area.

Theft from a white Ford Transit on Broxtowe Rise, Nottingham

Theft from a white Ford Transit Tipper on Beechdale Road, Nottingham

Power tools were stolen from both vans.

If you own a Work Van please review your security, consider removing tools from the vehicle overnight or installing a tool safe within to protect.

Please also consider security marking any valuable tools and keeping a log of any serial numbers, as this will assist if we recover the items and essential evidentially to linking stolen property to any offenders arrested.

Please ensure that if you leave your vehicle unattended that it is locked and report any person you see acting suspiciously around vehicles and ensure that there are no valuables on show. If a crime is in progress then please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 999.
