We have had a number of complaints from residents near to schools where cars have been parking on, or half on the pavement half on the Zig Zag markings. The yellow Zig Zag markings which clearly show ‘School Keep Clear’ are not to be parked on at anytime. At times a notice is displayed showing times that no parking is allowed. 

Highway code Rule 191 states: You MUST NOT park on a crossing or in the area covered by the zig-zag lines

Contravention of these rules could result in an offence being identified and subsequent action being taken.
