A section 34 dispersal order has been authorised by the local neighbourhood inspector after repeated issues with begging and drug-related shop lifting in the Sherwood and Carrington area.
This authorisation begins at 3pm today and lasts for 48 hours
It gives Police officers and PCSOs the power to issue a dispersal notice with the map you can see below and instructs the individual to leave the area and not return for 48 hours from the point of issuing, otherwise they will be arrested.
