We have had numerous incidents over the last few days on the Sherwood area regarding door to door sellers stating they have just been released from prison and are looking to turn their lives around and trying to make a living going door to door selling goods. Unfortunately when they are refused a sale, they have become very abusive to the resident, trying to force a sale with aggression. It has been mainly elderly residents who are being targeted with other family members reporting the incident. Please do not answer your door if you are not expecting a visitor and look out of your window first to see who is knocking. Also please keep an eye out for any elderly neighbours you may have.
