2025 District Update

Good Afternoon All,

Firstly i would like to wish you all a Happy New Year, i hope that you all managed to enjoy some time with loved ones or close friends over the Festive period or if you spent the time alone that you managed to keep in touch with those most important to you.
I just wanted to provide a brief update on the things we have planned across the district as we move into 2025 to try and improve things for you all in relation to my 3 priorities at the moment which are focusing on reducing ASB, reducing retail crime and taking a touch stance on Drug dealing and drug usage which sadly influence the other two priorities.

I would encourage you all to let us know if you see or hear anything suspicious, as i have said before, you, the community are our eyes and ears and are more likely to notice things that aren't quite right due to the strong links you all have. Even if its something very small, let your local beat officer or PCSO know and we can log it and it may be the last piece of a jigsaw that we need to take some positive action.

All of our beat surgeries will be listed within Notts Alert so please keep an eye out and pop along to see the team to talk about any concerns you have and please spread the word with friends and family who may not have access to Notts Alert as to when we are in the area or even better, get them to register so they can get the updates first hand.

We have seen a 10.3% reduction in crime through 2024 which is a real positive and highlights the efforts the team are making as well as the assistance you have given us by sharing information with us so please keep us updated and we will support you wherever we can.

I look forward to seeing you at a beat surgery or community event at some point through 2025.

Many Thanks

Chris
