Officers in Rushcliffe have been out during December as part of the Xmas drink drive campaign.

A disqualified driver was stopped on 09/12/2024 along with a male who tested positive for drugs.

Earlier a drink driver was arrested and has been charged with that offence and failing to stop for officers on 06/12/2024.

If anyone has information about drink or drug drivers, dangerous drivers or unlicensed drivers this can be reported online to Nottinghamshire, via 101 or to the charity crimestoppers.

Several of the new officers on the NPT team have also been trained on the handheld speed detection devices we have so they are now ready to deal with local complaints about speeding in local communities.
