Officers from the Forest Town Beat team have been conducting speeding checks today on Clipstone Road East after concerns have been raised by the local community.

During the operation multiple vehicles were stopped and tickets have been issued for speeding offences with the highest speed recorded being 39 mph in a 30 zone.

Can we please remind drivers to respect the speed limits that are currently in place as they are there for the safety of other drivers as well as pedestrians, especially as road conditions change as we move into winter.
