There has been a recent spate of vehicles thefts whereby vehicles are being stolen without the need for the key. This is occurring throughout Nottingham City West area over the last few days.

The vehicles being targeted are mainly Ford Fiesta's and Ford Transit vans. It is currently unknown how these vehicles are being taken, however if you own a vehicle of this type or know someone who does then please be vigilant and where you can, take extra measures to ensure your vehicle is secure when not in use or warn others to do this.

If you can, ensure your vehicle is parked where it is in view of CCTV and consider using extra security items such as,

-steering wheel locks
-wheel clamps
-fitting your vehicle with a GPS tracker
-storing your keys in a key signal blocking case

Do not leave anything of value in your vehicle overnight.
